The HCD Economics team attended the Big Bowel Event in London this past week to present our socio-economic study on Ulcerative Colitis to an audience of researchers, clinicians, patients and patient advocates.  The event itself showcased latest research and innovations aimed to improve patient care.

The core theme of the event was to utilise patient feedback and participation to improve research and innovation.  The afternoon workshops really helped to drive this home and a key takeaway for the HCD Economics team was the resilience and optimism people living with bowel conditions have and how appreciative they have been of our research and future opportunities to collaborate further.
